Your: tapering schedule sounds correct but I will not comment on the usefulness of steroids for BRONCHITIS! (Unless it's ASTHMATIC BRONCHITIS ie you are WHEEZING! and even then inhaled steroids are usually the "first line" treatment! Dr Z
