Allergies or pollution: If your tear production is adequate, and you're having these symptoms, it sounds like a reaction to inflammation occurring on the surface of the eye. Most common things include allergies and /or pollutants. Allergy drops will work for your allergies. Pollutants are a little bit more difficult. Some allergy drops will help with the symptoms, and artificial tears can help wash away some of the noxious stimuli.
