Hard to say: Rabies is a locality based problem. Local health departments are often the best source of rabies information since they keep track of the states rabies surveillance. If rabies has not been active in your region it is less an issue than when they find it in raccoons,foxes & skunks. The health department often keeps the vaccine on hand. I would call them or the local ER & discuss the issue.
