Can dim vision be a symptom of brain disease or tumour?

Yes/no: If you asked me to list out brain related causes for this symptom, I certainly can do so. HOWEVER, I am sure that an opthalmologist can also list out numerous eye causes as well. I would start with a routine eye exam and have a clean bill of eye health before worrying about other causes.
