Get a quick sharp pain on left side of my head?

Neuralgia: Sharp, fleeting pains in the head area are characteristic of neuralgia which is an irritability of a superficial nerve in the scalp. This is more of a nuisance rather than anything serious and has nothing to do with brain problems. Neuralgia usually resolves on its own. Sometimes Tylenol or Advil helps.
