Needs to be checked: It is very hard to say why your ankles are on fire without getting more information and examining your ankle.We need to know if there is any history of trauma,any associated symptoms,responce to treatment if any like over the counter meds.Any swelling and any associated generalized symptoms.I suggest you get it checked by your doctor
