Possibly: Courtney, pain after an injury could mean sprain (ligament injury), strain (muscle injury), or fracture (bone injury). Try RICE: rest, compress (with an ace wrap), ice (with bagged frozen peas), and elevate. If the pain is not better in 4-5 days, see your doctor, as you may need an X-Ray. Hope this helps!
