Here are some...: Do you have a strong family history of Wilm's tumor, which is very rare? Does the child you might have concerned have congenital anomalies like retardation, defect of iris, etc. ? If so, repeat US every 4 - 6 months up to age 8. Besides such, it is not practical to do screening US for all children due to the fear to have Wilm's tumor. So, ask the doctor for individual detail.
