Not unusual: and probably relates to hormone changes. Migraines can occur at this time as well. You might want to take some Evening Primrose oil the week before your period, or get your hormone levels checked to see if you are entering pre-menopause and could use some progesterone balancing. Also if you are on OCPs, would find out if you can stop and use another method, reduce stroke risk. Good luck!
