Meningitis: Meningitis is an infection of the lining of the brain. It can be bacterial. Very dangerous or. Oral. No you can not inherit it. But it is contagious if you are around some some diagnosed. It must be diagnosed quickly or the bacterial meningitis can be fatal. I am so sorry about your father. This is indeed a tragedy

No,: meningitis and a brain hemorrhage are separate issues. Meningitis is an infection/inflammation of the meninges, which are membranes that cover the brain. It is not passed through the genes, usually it is caused by an infectious agent.
