Fever will go away: Fever from Flue goes away in 2-3 days. Panadol(Tylenol also called Paracetamol) works well but you need to take 2 tablets every 4-6 hourly before it has its maximum benefit. So pop in 2 tablets now with ample amount of water to drink, your fever will be better by tomorrow.

Ibuprofen : It is possible to use ibuprofen in addition to paracetamol (provided there is no other reason NOT to take it eg history of stomach ulcers). This may help to bring the temp down and relieve aches. Paracetamol/ibuprofen don't make you get better faster but may lessen your symptoms while your body fights the virus. Drink plenty of water and rest. No magic cure unfortunately!

Fluids /Ibuprofen: Keep up your intake of fluids and you can take Nurofen or Ibuprofen as a supplement to the panadaol to help ease the body's temperatures as well.
