Nipple rash: Nipples and areolae can get dry and irritated easily, especially in fall and winter. Runners can get irritated nipples also. Gentle skin care and moisturizing is very important. If switching to a non-soap cleansing bar and moisturizing with petrolatum doesn't help, you may need prescription treatment. Please see your dermatologist. There are other nipple/areola conditions that need to be ruled out.
