I have been feeling dizzy and have blurred vision or like i am going to pass out or feint.i have recently been told by my doctor to stop taking fluoxetine?

Fluoxetine?: Did you Dr tell you to stop because of the symptoms or since you have stopped you been having these symptoms. There is a well described withdrawal syndrome that you could be experiencing. Would see your doctor.

Withdrawl?: Depending on how long you've been taking the fluoxetine & what the dose was, your symptoms could be explained by suddenly stopping this medication. We normally advise people to gradually wean the dose.

Dizzy: Multiple causes for this symptom. Lightheadedness can be from medications , low iron, low BP, low bit b12 , fatigue , out . check with your Gp and get these things rules out.
