The Diagnosis: of Grave's disease is made when a number of clinical symptoms/signs are confirmed with blood measurements as well as uptake studies. A single one of these is insufficient in making the diagnosis. ANY SINGLE test does NOT exclude the Diagnosis! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
