How accurate is a ct scan for lung cancer?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Andrew Seibert
34 years experience in Gastroenterology
Pretty accurate: Although there are obviously size limits of what can be seen, it is very good for seeing nodules which can be lung cancer. If that is suspected, it is a good test to do. Good luck.
