Yes: Currently smoking history is best predictor of risk for smoking associated lung cancers, other known predictors are presence of COPD and prior personal history of lung cancer and significant exposure to aerosolized asbestos. Talk with your PCP if concerned, a case for screening can be made for individuals based on unique combinations of risk factors.
