Likely: Yes Symbiocort has a steroid in it and can cause thrush. Are you rinsing your mouth out and spitting the water out after each use? Have you ever been treated for it? If it is really bothering you would discuss with your doctor about a possible medication adjustment.

Thrush : If one does not rinse mouth after using Steroid inhalers , they can cause thrush . It can be tested with oral antifungal medications. Make it a habit to rinse mouth after inhaler use to avoid recurrence.
