Number of things: It could be an allergy, a systemic problem or a nerve problem. I would suggest seeing your physician to rule out a systemic problem like vitamin b deficiency and maybe consider seeing an oral medicine specialist. It could be what is called burning tongue.

A few things...: Nerve damage. Perhaps you bit your tongue and not realized it. Also, since the tongue is a muscle...You may have pulled it somehow. Have your dentist or md look for some strange growths.
