BV testing: Replens should not cause a false positive result on a BV test. It sounds like your gynecologist saw vaginal discharge and sent off testing to determine the cause. If vaginal discharge was present and the test confirmed bacterial vaginosis then this is likely an accurate diagnosis regardless of previous medications used. BV is extremely common and treatable with antibiotics
