Gynecologist: I recommend that you have a pelvic examination so that this spot may be evaluated. It may be a simple and insignificant pigmented spot on the vaginal lining. Since it appears to stand out and there are no other similar spots anywhere else in the vicinity, I feel that it's important to diagnose it. It may require a dermatologist to make the diagnosis if the gynecologist is unsure of its nature.
