Feeding tubes: are indicated to feed patients who have a problem with swallowing, to deliver food directly into the stomach, (e.g. comatose patients) As for Crohn's disease, the problem is mainly in the bowels, so either have gut rest, or special diet till the crisis / disease is controlled, the gastroenterologist and the dietician would work together in that regard, wish you wellness
