How underweight or how weak does a person need to be to require a feeding tube? i have been feeling really weak from my crohn's, my guess.

Feeding tube: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4069302/ The link above is to article of Gtube indications. If you are swallowing and not vomiting and able to take fluids down unlikely need for feeding tube. However a liquid supplement may help.

Feeding tubes: are indicated to feed patients who have a problem with swallowing, to deliver food directly into the stomach, (e.g. comatose patients) As for Crohn's disease, the problem is mainly in the bowels, so either have gut rest, or special diet till the crisis / disease is controlled, the gastroenterologist and the dietician would work together in that regard, wish you wellness
