Adjuncts to help...: prevent relapse. The 1-year success rate of quitting smoking "by home remedial" is dismal: less than 1%. (See how addicting nicotine can be!). Once you quit smoking, you are in nicotine withdrawal. 2 wks before the quit date, you should start taking Bupropion or Nortryptiline or other neuro-active agent that block cravings. (These meds take 2 wks to take effect & be continued afterwards). TTYD.
