Genital herpes: You may have been exposed to and now have genital herpes. Unfortunately even one exposure can result in a sexually transmitted disease. before having sex again see your gynecologist and seek treatment

Plan: There are effective treatment for genital herpes as Valtrex or Famvir. You have to go to doctor for prescription for this. The earlier, the better.

Herpes simplex: It is highly infectious and may be recurrent. See your MD avoid sex while active lesions to prevent the spread. Anti- viral medications will help. If recurrent may need to be on maintenance anti viral medications
