Overuse injury: The ligaments and tendons that hold your joints together can become strained with repetitive use, like typing on a keyboard. Rest, good ergonomics (hand positioning for comfort), and medicines like ibuprofen or aleve (taken as directed) can help reduce inflammation and pain as you heal. Avoid activities that make your pain worse.
