Need 2 calculate BMI: Your body mass index (bmi) calculation may be helpful in determining if you're too heavy (>25), too thin (<18), or just right (19-25). Obesity is defined as bmi >30. There are of course a lot of other consideration when figuring out what your ideal weight should be: activity, illness, age, plans for surgery, etc. It's good you're thinking "healthy" here...Now do some homework to plan strategy.
