Probably not: 60 kg is a lot of weight. I usually tell my patients to return to normal activity as tolerated by pain, and to listen to their bodies and use common sense. It is rare that lifting the 60kg is more important than healing from the operation. Also depends on the type of hernia, and type of repair. Call your surgeon to find out. Hope this helps!
