A member asked:

Why does diarrhea hurt anus? is it because it's filled with stomach acid and burns anus skin? then why does vomiting not hurt mouth? is anus weaker?

Not stomach acid: Not all kinds of diarrhea cause anal pain. Feces is not acidic, even when there is diarrhea. This has nothing to do with stomach acid. If you always have anal pain every time you have a watery or loose still, I wonder whether you have a separate problem, such as anal fissure, pruritus ani, yeast infection, etc. Check it out with your doctor.
