Yes: If you are eating a normal mixed diet and are not an excessive user of alcohol, you do not need magnesium supplement. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

You'll be ok: Hi It is very difficult to overdose on Magnesium. With the very little that you took, you won't have any issues. Our bodies are very good at keeping Magnesium levels in balance. Any excess will just get urinated out. I would however, just go back to 1 tab per day. 500mg is a little much, but you won't develop toxicities from just 2 days of it. Hope this helps

Or take only one: If any, so long you have a good balanced diet with reasonable portions of fruits and vegetables, you don't need supplements. No harm if you took 2 tablets for 2 days, best wishes
