Head trauma: Itis posible you could have injured (rupture) the tympanic membrane. Another possibility if swelling of adjacent soft tissue or temporomandibular joint causing a change of the hearing perception. Less likely, a concussion could also present with transient sensory deficits. Check with your physician to determine when is safe to return to practice contact sports again.
