MRI: MRI pretty simply will tell if you have arachnoiditis, it is not hard to see it to make the diagnosis at all. All arachnoiditis is considered to some degree "adhesive", that is how it is diagnosed by looked for clumping together (adhesion) of the nerve roots together rather that the normal pattern where there is typically not clumping.
