Not asthma?: Salbutamol is a quick relief inhaler used for the treatment of asthma. If cough does not respond to salbutamol (assuming proper inhaler technique and dose), then a person has to wonder if the asthma diagnosis was correct. It would be important to know the results of the chest x-ray and lung function tests to help with a treatment plan.
