Sore throat.: If you are having continued sore throat, then you need to get in and have it evaluated. There are many possible causes.

Sore throat: Highly unlikely that its cancer. Swollen spots aren't normal. Most likely its an infection. Start off with OTC medications and gargle warm salt water. If not improving in a couple of days then follow up with your PCP.
