What symptoms?: It is best to limit medications while pregnant, and most over the counter cold remedies have only mild efficacy anyway. Avoid decongestants, which are stimulants that can raise your heart rate and blood pressure. You can take acetaminophen for fever and pain in appropriate doses. For congestion, try a humidifier and/or NetiPot. For a cough, try honey. Take Care!
