Pre-diabetes: Major help will be to lose weight thru exercise (walking/water aerobics) & healthy diet (no fast food, limit sugary foods & drinks, eat low glycemic fruits & veggies, lean proteins, low-fat dairy, whole grains, good fats (olive & canola oil). Even 5-lb weight loss can improve glucose tolerance & lower blood pressure. Muscles burn up glucose; more u exercise, the better. B checked 4 thyroid problm.
