Need more info: The thyroid controls many important functions in your body. It is too complicated to go over in this venue. You must talk things over with your gynecologist who knows your medical history and will guide you medically through your pregnancy.

Thyroid Tests: Parameters do not change in pregnancy. Abnormalities in thyroid function can lead to serious problems in pregnancy , the most serious being miscarriage or stillbirth.
