You need: to be evaluated by your physician. You can't assume that new symptoms are due to a chronic carotid artery occlusion. There may be something else going on.

Vascular surgeon: Has a vascular surgeon been involved in your care since you began having carotid artery ultrasound? Have you had a physician or neurologist attribute your current problems to a stroke? Most likely no invasive treatment for the chronic total carotid artery occlusion will be recommended. Nevertheless a neurologist and a vascular surgeon can best advise you.
