Could be anything.: It could be just about anything. The critical question to be asked is whether or not the lesion is located directly over a weight bearing bony area, as opposed in an area that bears no direct weight. Determining the difference between a callus, wart and foreign body can stump even the most experienced observer. To remove all doubt, have your foot examined by a podiatrist or dermatologist.
