CT is: generally not used for diagnosis or staging of endometrial cancer, however endometrial can be detected on a contrast enhanced scan. Ultrasound is more useful for initial imaging, and if additional imaging is necessary, MRI is superior to CT.

Endometrial cancer : A CT scan would not be a reliable test for endometrial cancer. The sampling of the endometrial lining will be much more accurate.
