Any symptoms?: Why were these tests done? All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it needs to be kept in mind that complement proteins are labile and if the blood specimen is not handled properly, it may give inaccurate results. Would be prudent to get retested at a reputable lab.
