Ravitch procedure: Ravitch procedure has been done in older individuals ( 18-53 in one series) and there was post op improvement of symptoms. But at 68 would get a through cardiac work up to ensure the symptoms aren't due cardiac ischemia, sclerotic valves , pulmonary hypertension .
