Need current ENT exa: If you were 12 years old (& 37 now), there's a good chance that the tympanic membrane (TM) has healed. However, it's impossible to advise you in this forum. Use HealthTap Prime to discuss. You may want to see an ENT surgeon (Ear-Nose-Throat / Otolaryngology) to get a current exam by which to make the decision. ENTs are the most familiar with TM "paper grafting", which is no longer common procedure
