Heart rate: The heart rate typically goes up on such a position change to compensate for the blood pooled in the lower extremities. You may have less tone to push venous return back up when you get up or an exaggerated heart rate response. You could be relatively dehydated or have low vascular resistance. Your doctor can check for these.
