Neck sprain vs. disc: You could have a severe cervical sprain involving the cervical strap muscles. This is very common and causes neck pain, headaches and may yield dizziness. On the other hand, it is possible that you have a herniated cervical disc; this would involve numbness and 'pins and needles' of the affect hand and arm along with weakness of the affected limb. Give it another 5-6 days; then see PCP
