Nerve: I feel that this symptom may be due to a nerve impingement in the next caused by a disc or vertebral spur pressing on a nerve root in your cervical spine(neck). Another possibility is a primary inflammation of a peripheral nerve(neuritis). A gastric,brain or cardiac cause is unlikely. A neurologist is best qualified to evaluate you and order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.
