My knees and legs twist 90 degrees in which causes knee pain. x-rays came back as 'no action required'. what can be the next step to identify problem?

Are you certain: that is an xray report? I have never seen a radiologist make such a conclusion. The radiologist describes findings and may make a suggestion about additional tests, but "no action required" is a clinical assessment that is usually beyond the scope of a the radiologist.
