Common: Looks like middle ear infection together with pharyngitis, usually viral, but secondary bacterial infection may ensue. Kindly revisit your doctor for a second look as you may need antibiotics, meanwhile saline nasal washes and salt water gargles would help decongest the area, and take pain killers as needed, good luck
