Elevated liver test: These tests are above normal, but not more than twice the "upper limit of normal", and so would be considered a mild degree of elevation. Numerous conditions can cause this; it depends on why your physician ordered the test. Can be from medications, or from a temporary or chronic illness. Would check with your ordering physician. If was thought temporary, could repeat them after several weeks.
