Possibly: Get a sleep study done from a Neurologist or a Board Certified Sleep Medicine Physician. The results should diagnose the problem and lead to treatment. If you have such a dysfunction, one of the neuromodulators would likely help (e.g. gabapentin, pregabalin). Otherwise recommendations would be practice behavioral sleep hygiene and/or one of the anti-insomnia agents (e.g. sonata) or melatonin
