A member asked:

Could 500 mg of paracetamol stop or alleviate the pain of dysuria if a person has a uti? i am not talking about the back pain that sometimes arises.

More effective meds: Paracetamol probably won't help much with dysuria. A much more effective medication would be Pyridium (Phenazopyridine) or its equivalent in Australia. Pyridium is an actual bladder anesthetic. Best wishes!

Possible: Yes it might help and should not be a problem to give it a try.
