Condoms and cancer: There are several articles mentioning that carcinogenic chemicals are involved in the manufacture of latex products. However there are no studies establishing a connection between the use of latex condoms and cancer. Penile cancer remains a very rare cancer- would be more common if latex condoms cause cancer. The benefit of latex condoms in preventing STD transmission and pregnancy is clear.
